The Garnder Center for Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders hosts this annual symposium and RUN/WALK/RIDE in support of patients and caregivers. The agenda focuses on hot topics, wellness, and includes time for those impacted by Parkinson's to meet and discuss services with various vendors. Typically occurs in late August at The Oasis Conference Center in Loveland, Ohio.

This fun and inspiring local 5K is a fundraiser supporting, Parkinson Support & Wellness, and their mission to learn, move and share. Generally held in early October at the Linder Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio. Keep an eye on the Parkinson Support & Wellness, website for information on this year’s event.

“Moving Day is an empowering annual fundraising walk event that unites people around the country living with Parkinson’s disease (PD), their care partners and loved ones to help beat PD. Moving Day is more than just a walk. It’s a celebration of movement – proven to help manage Parkinson’s symptoms. Held Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Fraze Pavillion. Get involved. Parkinson Support and Wellness (PSW) exists to help those with PD in the Greater Cincinnati/Greater Dayton area learn about the disease, which empowers individuals to take control and make connections with local resources like support and exercise groups. In addition to helping link people to programs that will aid them, the organization also produces educational programming, provides grants to exercise programs specially-tailored to the needs of Persons with Parkinson Disease, and sponsors support groups and other events designed to bring people together in a mutual supportive and encouraging environment.”
